A brave new world and people seems to be coming. Private corporations are now starting to seek ways to go into space travel for every day people. If you have the money and wish to visit a planet or the moon, just pay and go.
Space X, a company that is ran by Elon Musk, is one of them. In 2012,his company has the first commercial vehicle to successfully attach to the International Space Station and return cargo to earth. Maybe one day this will be where you vacation!
or with your pad and paints , paint this as you zoom around the galaxcy.
Most space entrepreneurs are people who have billions made in other industries. One such person is Sir Richard Branson of Virgin Galactis. His company is attempting to build a spaceship that can complete a suborbital flight and return back to earth. This is what he hopes will open the door for long term space tourism, costing maybe $200,000 per seat initially.Theres a lot of people who can pay that says George Whitesides, ceo ofVirgin Galactic. " We think It's going to be great business for us."which they hope to offer in the future. The white night Two is a special aeroplane that funtions as the mother-ship and launch platform for the spacecraft SpaceShip Two. Spaceship two was unveiled in 2009.

Permalink Reply by artison on August 22, 2012 at 12:55am I think this will be the new thing for well to do people in time. Instead of cruises or trips to france this will be the vacation to take. It's not rare anymore for average people to jet off someplace. Special people want to be where we are not. Why do we follow? I would love to draw a space cloud but not because I want to be in the mist of them but because God made it for all to enjoy the heavens and the earth.
Artison, it never cease to amaze me how self indulged people are. Here you have the space program and other spin-offs from NASA, which costs in the millions of dollars to launch a spacecraft , then you have people suffering under a recession, that our Right Wing Republicans are blaming the poor for, so how do you fix it , ? you cut programs for the poor, while million and billionaires don't pay taxes and ship jobs over seas. The Private sectors ( top 1%) is drowning in money while others barely make a living , it's surreal. Smh. I appreciate you sharing this, i just don't understand how heartless people can be. Greed !
Permalink Reply by artison on August 22, 2012 at 12:42am I so agree with you. . These were my thoughts also when I came across this imformation. I also thought about those who, if and when this space travel is truly possible ,[for the "average" person, though I dont see that happening the average person will never have enough money to visit another state let alone have money to visit space, this is for the wealthy only. And it is to be done to sell spacecruises to the rich. To make money, ], who would elect to go for this ride? it will be those with the money to burn. The next step will be finding a way to live there, maybe at a space station? this would be the time when I and people like me will be left to deal with an earth that most likely will be ? As you may well know , when the minority moves into the neighbor hood those who can afford to move out. Not to mention that when the majority of the minority finally get a new dwelling place it's usually "somebodys" old stuff that they are tired of. So how much money do you feel Oprah and others will put in their old neighbor hood[earth] when they no longer reside in it. If it ever gets to the point where this kind space travel is possible what is the next step?, how many billionairs will just settle for a look see . I cant see it stopping at just a drive by- look see. I think there will be more to this than just visiting. Maybe not just yet, but I"d bet its being worked on. People are heartless especially when they think they are special. They believe that they are special because they have money. They are greedy and enough is never enough. You know that we most never get anything untill they, the rich or well off are tired of it and move on to the new.

It couldn't be nothing else but a most humbling experience. Such a trip would be life changing knowing that you have broken the plane of deceptions and illusions and have enter a massive arena where lies and decieve are not permitted.

Nasa's Curiosity Rover on Wednesday left it's tracks on mars, successfully completing a short test drive that showed it was ready to roll on longer treks for science investigations over the next two years. Nasa is also helping to fund private companies to build ships for space travel. The cost per seat $200.000 each. The Curiosity Project cost $2.5 billion and is at Nasa's Jet Propulsion Lab in Pasadena , Calif. the Curiosity touched down inside Gale crater early Aug. 6th. the Rover is car sized. Nasa announced that it had named the site , Bradbury Landing , in honor of the late science fiction writer Ray Bradbury, author of The Martian Chronicles. Bradbury passed away in June at 91 years old. Curiosity roved for roughly 16 minutes but most of that time was spent taking pictures. Actual drive time was only four or five minutes. Scientist hope Curiosity and it's 10 instruments can determine whether Mars has ever been able to support life.

Nasa's Curiosity Rover began moving about the surface of Mars on August 22, 2012. It landed on the surface of Mars August 6th, 2012. It's mission goal is to determin if Mars ever had or has the conditions necessary to support human life. This is getting interesting to me. I'm thinking I may want to be on the spaceship.
