We must never forget!!! There is one thing money can't buy and that's hope! Hope is a breath to breath, hand to hand, hug to hug, eyeball to eyeball component. I am called as a trench women. I hug the unhuggable, swat gnats and flies off of dying babies, rock the unrockable. Some one has to go--that is my calling. Someone has to support my going. Will that be you? Or you? Or you? We all have a stake in our global community. One of the things the people of Haiti have in common with the brothers and sisters of African descent in America is: WE AND THEY SURVIVED THE MIDDLE PASSAGE--that treacherous journey from the motherland during the times of slavery. Haiti is our brothers and sisters dumped on the island as "defected cargo" left to die before the final stage of the journey to the Americas. Guess what!!! They didn't all die. Just like in the earthquake. What a testimony to the fortitude of a people
