In the name of Allah, the most Gus, The most Merciful.
I greet you in the anciant Greeting of peace: As-salaamu alaikum
=================
Do you love your sons, boys, husbands, and men? Do you want to save our children? We need to put our religious differences aside and pay attention to what is happening to our community.
The Black male is an endangered species. An endangered species is a population of organisms which is at risk of becoming extinct because it is either few in numbers, or threatened by changing environmental or predation parameters. Do Blacks MEN qualify?  Well "far to many places in America, Black life is cheap." According to a 1990 TIME magazine article called "Endangered Species" it sites  Black-on-Black crime, Police Murders & brutatility, drugs, poor schooling, high unemployment, and the break down of the family as causes of the extinction of the Black Race. And if you couple that with the high abortion rates (40% of all Black pregnacies ending in abortion, which is 3 times the rate of White women and 2 times that of other races) and with most of our Black men being  locked up, it's a miracle that we are still here and exist as a people.

According to statistics in a 2006 report by the Schott Foundation for Public Education, most young Black men in the United States don’t graduate from high school: Only 35 percent of Black male students graduated from high school in Chicago, and only 26 percent graduated in New York City. Only a few Black, young men finish high school, and of those that finish, only a few attend college. On a national scale, only 22 percent of those few Black boys who enter college actually finish.
