Islam is not an Arab religion or a religion for just the Arabs.

Surah al-Hujurat (49:13)

mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes (not race), that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honored of you in the sight of God is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And God has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).

Many of those that opposed and fought the Prophet (pbuh) were Idol worshiping Arabs that seen his message of equality as a  threat to their supremacy way of thinking.

Slavery is only allow during wartime and it could only be enforce on persons that fought against Muslims. Those "so call Muslims" that enslaved incident men, women and children will have to answer to there maker on the Day of Judgement. This is an excellent video about the development of Islam during the time of the Prophet(pbuh).

Africa: Raising the Bar on Extractive Resources Transparency and Accountability

[U.S. Embassy Monrovia]Over 3.5 billion people—or half of the world’s population—live in countries that are rich in extractive resources such as oil, gas, and minerals.
